MILAN – Pal Zileri has a new chief executive officer, Carlo Anceschi, who succeeds Leone Scordo.
“It has been an extraordinary personal and professional journey to contribute to the growth of this brand over the past six years,” said Scordo, who is stepping down for personal reasons. “I am proud to have taken part in its repositioning and would like to wish all my colleagues the very best for the future.” Scordo had joined Pal Zileri in 2021.
Anceschi brings extensive international experience across the luxury fashion and accessories sector, having held senior leadership roles at Brioni, Pomellato, Stella McCartney and Elisabetta Franchi.
The storied Italian menswear Pal Zileri brand is controlled by Qatari fund Mayhoola, owner of Valentino and Balmain.
“I am truly honored to join a brand with such a distinguished Italian tradition and a heritage of refined excellence,” stated Anceschi. “Pal Zileri has already embarked on an important path toward a more contemporary and modern positioning, and I look forward to contributing to this next phase of growth.”
Pal Zileri was founded in 1983 by Forall, a company established in the 1970s in Quinto Vicentino, Italy, specialized in the production of formal clothing. The brand has been transitioning toward a more effortless style and softer silhouettes, maintaining its heritage of luxurious fabrics and often artistic inspirations.
In a statement, the company thanked Scordo for his contribution and expressed confidence in Anceschi’s “vision, competence and leadership,” which “will bring renewed momentum and guide Pal Zileri into its next chapter.”
